Program Policies

Arrival & Departure

 

Arrival time begins at 6:00 PM (early arrival up to 5:50 PM may be permitted).

Parents or guardians must walk the child inside and complete check-in (tablet or paper). Curbside or door drop-offs are not permitted.

 

Pick-up begins at 5:00 AM. Pick-ups prior to 5:00 AM are not permitted in order to protect children’s sleep routines and maintain program structure.

 

Care is provided based on approved enrollment schedules only.

 

Health & Illness

 

Children must remain home when showing signs of illness. This includes fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious conditions.

 

A child must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning to care, unless otherwise cleared according to health guidelines.

 

Up-to-date immunization records are required in accordance with Washington State licensing regulations.

 

Medications

 

Medications may only be administered with proper written parent authorization and required documentation.

 

All medications must be in original containers with clear dosage instructions and labeled with the child’s name.

 

Medication procedures follow Washington State licensing standards.

 

Items from Home

 

Children may bring comfort items such as a blanket or small stuffed animal.

 

All personal items must be labeled with the child’s name.

Little Dreamers Child Care Services LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.

 

Emergency Procedures

 

Little Dreamers Child Care Services LLC maintains emergency procedures for situations including fire, severe weather, power outages, and medical emergencies.

 

Staff are trained in emergency response procedures consistent with Washington State requirements.

 

Emergency contact information must remain current at all times.

 

Communication

 

We maintain professional and respectful communication with enrolled families.

 

Program updates may be shared during pick-up or through approved communication methods.

 

Families are expected to maintain respectful conduct when communicating with staff. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in review of enrollment status.

 

Policy Enforcement

 

All program policies are designed to ensure safety, structure, and regulatory compliance.

 

Failure to comply with program policies may result in corrective action, suspension, or termination of care.

 

Policies may be updated as required by licensing regulations or program operations. The most current version will be available on the program website.
