What a Night Looks Like
Structured overnight routine designed for safety, supervision, and consistency.
Children are warmly welcomed, signed in according to DCYF guidelines, and parents may share important updates about their child’s evening.
Children participate in calm, age-appropriate activities to help transition from the day into a peaceful evening setting.
Bedtime routines follow Washington State safe sleep practices and are adjusted based on each child’s age and individual needs.
Continuous supervision is provided throughout the night in accordance with DCYF licensing standards to ensure safety and comfort.
Morning pickup includes sign-out procedures and communication with families about their child’s night.

What should my child bring?
Families should provide pajamas (if needed) and one labeled comfort item. All items must meet Washington State health and safety guidelines.
